Turners has ONLY ever made me buy a lock for a pistol once and that was my own fault as I had (foolishly) bought a non-gun lock from walmart because their Winchester lock was out of stock. Rifles have ALWAYS been "safe affidavit".

For the only rifle I have bought at Bass Pro they charged me $0.01 for a POS lock (they provided) even though the rifle came with an OEM cable lock and even though I stated I had a safe.

x2 ON THAT. I had nothing but bad experiences at ammo bros. After seeing them go over the top with price gouging, i will never spend another dime in their stores.

i've never had a good experience there. each time i've been there the people behind the counter act as if i'm wasting their time when i ask to see something.

My Concern is their recent ammo Pricing, the 9mm reloads that cost $112 (out the door 4 months ago) for 500 round box JUST cost me $161 yesterday.. That just HAS to be Gouging!!

They are actually required to sell them. Turners was giving out free locks with their guns and the CADOJ kicked them in the *** for it. they now sell them at cost.

For quite a while now I swing by the local sheriffs station and pick up a free gun lock then run down to LGS and pick up my new gun I've never been hassled, but then again i don't shop at ammo bros,it doesn't seem difficult the up side is I save money by not buying a lock, not telling anyone what kind of safe I have and having plenty of locks on hand to use around the house

I love Ammo Bros regardless what anyone says. When I bought my wife 9mm and my AR lower I told the sales man I have a safe, and filled the safe owning form and done.

I don't think they are shady at all but trying to keep their business open.

                            golfrj,
Just asking...Are they reloads or thier white box ammo? I was told a few weeks ago they didn't stock reloads any longer..
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

They are definetely reloads, packaged 500 to a box and labeled reloads..
