Can you target shoot on the delta

I know you can bird hunt on the delta. But can you target shoot with a rifle, piston, and shot gun. I know you have to me 150 yards from a dwelling and aiming in a safe direction when hunting. If you can tatget shoot do
can you stand on the leve or do you have to be in a boat. I thought there is something about the high water mark when hunting. Thanks. Would love to just hop in my boat and go shoot in an unoccupied area. Thanks for any info.

I believe you also hve to be 150 yards away from any body of water while shooting in CA. I'll look up the PC.

ETA: Hm, after some searching, the closest thing I can find to it is CFR 261.10

        (d) Discharging a firearm or any other implement capable of taking human life, causing injury, or damaging property as follows:

        (1) In or within 150 yards of a residence, building, campsite, developed recreation site or occupied area, or

        (2) Across or on a National Forest System road or a body of water adjacent thereto, or in any manner or place whereby any person or property is exposed to injury or damage as a result in such discharge.

        (3) Into or within any cave.
As I read it though, it appears to only prohibit shooting near a body of water that is adjacent to a National Forest road.

Keep in mind I am not a lawyer.
