Holding Gun Shops to their words...

If you inquired about some items on a shops site and they tell you this within an hour:

"we receive shipments on a weekly basis for this item and estimate only 2-3 weeks maybe even sooner"

Then you place an order and it's now been over 2 months...what would you do?

the card has already been charged and their policy is no cancellation on special orders and or 25% restocking fee... on an item that is not even in stock granted it was a special order item...

I sent them an email to follow up 2 days ago but got nothing...even replied to them with their email...nothing....

but I only bought the items because they said 2-3 weeks...

    screwed am I...fudge...

    sorry just venting a bit....SMH!

Like everyone that this has happened to.... Should have know (in times like these) that was going to be a longer wait than that. Since you'll get the 25% restocking fee, just wait it out. AT least you got that coming. Sucks but..

I was just venting a bit...

I already waited a little over 2 months already...whats another month or 2...I wouldn't had care much if they hadn't charged the card yet...or if they would had just been honest and said that they have no idea and buy at your own risk...

what did you buy and how much money are you spending? If it's $50 or so, then is it worth the hassle of cancelling and going to your credit card company? If it's $500, then it's worth asking for a full refund and cancelling the order. If the store won't do that, then you can contact your credit card company and dispute the charge because you were charged for something that wasn't delivered to you and reasonably don't see it being delivered in the near future. I don't see how it's any different than ordering something mail order and the company doesn't send it after 2 months.

bought a stripped lower and a Vltor upper...I might as well wait it out...its already been over 2 months...

I still find it funny that 3 days after the order I got a response email about the Vltor upper...that they expect it within in 2-3 weeks and asked if I wanted them to ship the upper first while the lower is on backorder....I told them to ship the upper as soon as they receive it...

oh well...not getting my business at all anymore...they can kiss my *****....lying fools...

If they receive shipments of that product weekly, it's not a special order.

They can't charge a restocking fee for something that was never in stock.

Cancel it and if they charge you anything contact your credit card co and contest the charge and show them where they told you it would be 2-3 weeks.

I'd say 98% probability the CC company will reverse any/all charges, based on the stores failure to deliver in a timely manner.
