Cleaning / scope mounting rest recommendations?

I need something for mounting scopes on and cleaning long guns. The best options that I have seen so far are the Tipton Gun Butler, MTM Gun Vise, and the MTM gun maintenance station.

I am not interested in the MTM Best Gun vise -- too expensive and way bigger than I want.

Anyway, if you have experience with any of these or any others you'd want to recommend, it would be appreciated.

As a sidebar, it would be nice to have something that would serve dual duty as a range rest for sighting in, etc. but the first priority is getting something a good rest for scope mounting and maintenance.

    Thanks in advance!

I have a old Midway unit and it works fine. It is not for shooting. I use a lead sled for that and another that used a shock absorber and hyd trigger release if I find a need for more than sandbags
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

        I'm happy with my Site-In-Clean.

I used an Outers Varmint Rifle Rest for years. It served as both to hold the rifle during cleaning and while shooting from a bench. I am not using it and I am open to selling it. If your interested let me know. I can send photos later, but here is a link to what they look like. https://www.google.com/search?q=oute...w=1366&bih=653
