    Seahorse Multi Pistol Pack Poll

    Hi Guys,

At the request of many of you, I am posting a poll to see if you would like to keep the current configuration of the Seahorse 4 pack, which has a small compartment or Misc items, and two circular cavities for speed reloaders, or get rid of the compartment and one circle to accommodate a 5th pistol and 10 mags. Post it up, express your thoughts, and if there is enough "evidence" to justify adjusting tooling, it will be done!

For those of you not familiar, here is a link as to what the poll is about. Let me know your thoughts as well.

my vote is something not listed. I'd prefer 5 pistol slots and 10 mag slots.

is there a reason it has to have a reloader cavity?

I can fit 10 mag cavities, with keeping a reloader. I would like to keep a reloader cavity, just for those that have a wheel gun.

Good recommendation, I have added 2 mag cavities to the potential 5 pack.

Agree 100%. Wondering how many revolver types out there even have a speed loader?

Maybe offer both versions? Call one the "Semi-Auto" and the other the "Wheel Gun", or something like that. See, everyone's happy now. I'm awesome.

Since I got 2 out of the first group buy with the original configuration, I say go with 5/10 just so I can get that too. . My revolvers are now already taken care of.

Do you want the million dollar solution?

Sell your case with 5 inserts included. Let us pick the five inserts from gun slot, mag slots, revolver slots, etc.

I would want to select my 5 foam sections so that I could carry three guns and a bunch of mags for each. So I would order 3 gun foams and two mag foams. Simple.

I would still prefer 5/10 and NO reloader cylinder at all. It'll just look funny.

Actually, TahoeTim might be on to something here. Gun sleeves could be made with either 2 mag slots or one reloader hole. Optional sleeves for just mag slots (8?), reloader holes (4?), a compartment plus mag slots or reloader holes, 2 compartments. List everything separate on website: empty case and choose your configuration of 5 sleeves. Option to buy sleeves separate so cases cn be modified as gun collection changes. I like this idea!

Thanks. The speed loader area keeps me from buying the case. I currently have two 1911's with 4 mags each for steel challenge matches. I don't see how the current offering suits my needs. I want individual slot for my 1911 mags so they don't bang together. Gun - mags - gun - mags - misc items would be my optimum setup

If you look at the product photo gun position 2 and 4 would be mag slots and position 5 would be two deep cavities instead of one. No speed loader area. Another benefit of not having mags along the front would allow the pistol slots to be leaned to allow for longer barrel pistols. They don't have to stand straight up if the mag slots are moved out of the way.

Problem with the "sleeve" option is this.

1: the case champhers in both length and width, meaning there would be left end pieces, right end pieces and middles. Too many options.

2: the cost of fabricating 5 foam pieces to fill 1 case would be much pricier than to fabricate one solid piece. It would actually be cheaper to buy 2 full foam sets, then to buy 5 individual pieces.

It's a great idea, but is not cost affective.
