Does anybody know anybody who works there? Does anybody ever drive by thier shop? Are they still doing business?

I have e-mailed them 3 times since December asking for an update on the 80% Jig I ordered. I haven't recieved anything back. I heard a rumor they got visited by DOJ or ATF but haven't heard the outcome.

Please, if you know anything about them, let me know. I really want to get my project going.

They are still there and doing business. Just too busy for their staff to keep up. I know they are working through back orders, they need some minimum wage person to just do communication with customers. Like so many shops, they cannot keep up with emails and phone calls. I was at JD Machine a few weeks ago and they were haggard an hour after they opened. It took LMT 6 months to get me a 300blk barrel. I cannot believe demand is still so high.

Thanks for the info. I don't want to disturb them, but when I placed the order they told me 2-3 months, we are going on 5 now, and not one update. I'm not going to rag on them because I did get my lowers faster than expected, but I sure wish they would call....

Call them, visit them, etc.

The more you call, the more your status changes - that's the way things work there.

bugging them is not going to make a difference if they dont have it. i hate to tell you be patient, because im not. i have some crap im still waiting for. it sucks and its going on everywhere. i ordered a couple things from them and received a partial order too. everyone is just backed up!

The question is why bother? with a tiny bit of research you can find out loads of info about almost anything.
If you still decide to deal with them then suck it up and accept the fact you may never get the (insert) 80% whatever here.

I listen to the gun fighter podcast and they are sponsored by Ares. They keep promoting the ares ranger. I checked out the site and the belt was pretty awesome. 5 weeks and $90 dollars doesn't. Maybe once things die down a little. If im going to pay that much for a belt, I want it tomorrow.

Just got an email from them today. Today they are shipping *anodized* lowers that were ordered on 12/21/12. Non anodized are about a month ahead.

You would think people in the gun community would be more paitent. If you want a 80% lower that bad, you can pay 250 USD right now and have it tomorrow.

That being said, everyone is calling, e-mailing, facebooking, etc about their order.

You'll get your order when your order is ready. You're not getting screwed, scammed, or any other internet crackpot theory. In fact, these guys won't even hook dudes up who they've served with in the past---EVERYONE WAITS IN LINE. If you have a problem with that, either take up a new hobby, or find a different source---I'm sure they won't care---as there's obviously a huge line of folks who have ordered from them.
