    NO Sig for me...

So, two weeks ago, A buddy and i go into the LGS to pick out a new handgun each. Both first time handgun buyers(but not new to pistols), both ready to put mony down on something we liked. Ended up getting two Sig P226R CPO's in 40/357sig. Night sights,E2 grips,357sig conversion, really nice feel and was super stoked to put some money down. I needed a little longer than my buddy, who paid half then, and half at pick up,he also started his dros. I, needed a little longer so decided to wait to start my dros until i paid a little more (tonight),that way 10 days would be around my next pay-day for my last payment. Im informed that there is a problem,my Sig has a Roster issue and i cant start the dros until its resolved. i was pretty bummed, knowing how swamped the DOJ is with the flood of people buying and who knows what else.

Question is , do i wait on the Sig to be buyable again or what? I wasn't ready to have to rethink my purchase and now im torn.

My ******* buddy had no problem and left with his new gun.*******.

If it fell off of the list before you started the DROS, you're probably screwed. I don't think it's common for guns to drop off the list, then come back.

Sounds like you missed out...I've never heard of a pistol falling off the list and getting back on either

Wat? It's a used gun. California can't expect the manufacturer to keep paying roster extortion for guns they made years ago. It also would screw shop owners if a bunch of their inventory suddenly becomes illegal to sell.

They just sell them out of state

Got curious and checked DOJ list for my 1911. It drops off next year. So I could sell it to you right now ... except it is not for sale and never will be.

It's not too late to do a SSE. If the LGS can't do it, there must be a FFL in the area that can.
