New Ed Brown on The Way!

Got a Special Forces II Carry on the way for SSE. Can't wait! Hope I don't run into any problems/setbacks with the process.

Should go nicely with my Kobra. I was super close to getting a Nighthawk Falcon Commander. But something about the Browns. They're a bit more elegant.

I'm with you, I know NH's are incredible 1911s. But I've never been drawn to them, now EB's can't get enough.
    You got two fine 1911s.
Im a warmonger baby, I got blood in my eyes and I'm looking at you.

Thanks! One day I'll have a Wilson, too. Maybe in a few years. My dream gun is a Wilson Professional, all black. Flush/reverse crown, rear battle sight, front gold dot, top of slide serrations and rear of slide, no roll marks, round butt.

So pretty much a Rankin Arms RDP with a few changes.

Congrats on the pickup. Those Ed Browns are NICE.

I went shopping for my first 1911 a few weeks ago. Started out looking for an SA mil spec, crept up to a SA loaded, and than started to mull over an Operator. Thought some more and saw an Ed Brown. Went from wanting to spend 600 all the way up to a 2900 potential spend. Ended up plunking down for a les baer first and than eventually a brown later.
Looking at those pics above is making me go into buyers remorse as I am counting down the days to jail breaking the PII!

          Congrats again!

              lol they're staying put.

Ed Browns are some classy guns. I like how Brown sort of does his own thing with the styling, features, and build philosophy. Just wish they offered more custom options. One thing I would definitely change about Ed Browns is add more of an undercut or high-cut trigger guard so your middle finger of your strong hand could sit higher up. Like on a Wilson.

Other than that, all those little extras like slide-top serrations, rear of slide serrations, flush/reverse crown, and so on would be nice to have. I think my ideal Brown would be a Kobra Carry WITHOUT a Bobtail. But with a rounded butt, undercut trigger guard, reverse crowned and flush bull barrel and a naked slide. That'd be baller.
