Vallejo Gun Show: April 6-7

There's a show next weekend. Posting this now to alert those in the area. I won't be at this show but if others could post prices or what the lines are like that would be great.

The Cow Palace show is the following weekend so the Vallejo show may be an indication of what we could expect.

I'm planning on going Sunday. Have to work on Saturday. Hopefully there will be some components there. Went to the San Jose show a few weeks ago and it sucked. No components. There were no major vendors there. Prices were pretty high. Found some 30/30 bullets though for a good price.

Code of the West hosts the gunshows at the fairgrounds in Vallejo. I saw the long lines going in on Saturday. I went Sunday and it looked like a normal day. I parked close and walked right up to the window and paid my $10. The place wasn't crowded inside as I had expected.
I imagine the show at the Cow Palace will be larger, crowds. A friend of mine went early and there was a long line that Sat. He came back about 11am or so and walked right in.
Of course many people are heading straight to the ammo people.
I am looking for 7.62X54 stuff for my Mosin M44., some cleaning stuff and a soft rifle case and that's about it. Oh yes, cant forget the beef jerky and salami.

I'll wait for the antioch gun show later this month.
The $5 bridge toll, $10 parking, and $10 entrance is not worth it for me.

Is the Ammo at high prices 223 762x39 that's what I want to know I cant get it online and if I can the price is way to high. I was going to give it some more time and let every one else pay way to much for it. I think if we keep paying the high prices it will never come down. I just cant shoot 223 at 1.00 per round, not and have three kids to feed

I just got back...Arrived early enough not to pay the $10 parking fee.
There was a very long line for entry, then another very long line for the wholesale ammo table.

As far as prices: 500 rounds .223 reloads for $350.
I picked up some $15 boxes of 7.62x39 Winchester/20rds

The ammo was flying off the shelves...I don't think they'll be much left by tomorrow.

Just got back also and all I can say is save your money. The lines were out the door and wrapped around. Saw miwall had some primers but that was about it. My jaw dropped when i saw 1000rds of 5.56 PMC for $750. Just think less then a year ago i got some for $329...

I just left the show. No line now to get in. I didn't look at the ammo, but lines at those tables were minimal now. Good show.
