    Lee melting pot

I have the lee..... And it shocks me enough to the knock the gfc out. Is there anyone else who has this problem? Should I send it to lee to get fixed or is there a way to fix it on my own?

This is one of those things that you shouldn't experiment with.

Call Lee, they may not want the hassle of shipping it back and forth.

Best case scenario, they might send you a new one.

I don't have that problem with mine. If Lee doesn't exchange it, you could open it up and check for cut/loose/damaged wires. The circuit for the heating element is very simple. As far as I remember there is just a temperature control, heating element, and cord. If the connections are good, then the control or element are bad. Lee sells the parts too. They may send a part or you could buy one if it doesn't get exchanged.

Oh yeah.......Unplug it before you open it up
