I have read a few negative things on Yelp about the service at Annies Guns. I recently gave them a shot at the behest of a seller to meet there for a PPT.
I am originally from the Hayward, Fremont area and have been in Irvington Arms, now Annies Guns for many years. I have never personally ever had a bad experience before the change of name / ownership.
I walked in and was immediately impressed. They had a lot of black rifle parts and accesories from Magpul, Troy and others. Additionally their prices were extremely fair with no gouging that I could see. The guys behind the counter, an asian guy and the older gentleman I remember from the Irvington Arms days were friendly and amiable.
We stood around chatting and joking about this and that while performing the PPT. I never felt rushed or that we were putting them out asking for a PPT. Myself, being a business owner makes me especially sensitive to attitude and customer service. I was very impressed by the professionalism and friendly attitude. It was clear that they know and understand that the customer is first.
I will cut and paste this into their Yelp page too. Based on the reviews on Yelp the management has instituted some major changes with respect to customer service training etc. for particular individuals.
