Looking to purchase a waffle pattern tip for soldering iron.
Where to buy???

I've seen them at Fry's before, next to the rest of the electrical & solder stuff. That 'waffle' pattern is very small on the bit and will be hard to distinguish the pattern on the plastic frame.

IMO, use a larger solder bit and go with something like the 'golf ball' pattern.

Not much difference between a soldering iron and a 'wood burning' tool.

Rockler, woodcraft, grizzly are the ones off the top of my head.
