Remington 770 308
I just had a great evening. I won a Remington 770 in 308 from CWA dinner. Does anyone have some insight on this rifle. Should I keep it, or see what I can trade or upgrade to when I go into the shop?

Sorry to throw cold water on your win but try to upgrade, get another brand(such as Savage) or sell it. They are junk.
Sorry but you asked.A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

Wouldn't say junk , its still a fricking weapon ...What comes out the business end will still ruin something's day ..
HOWEVER there are lots of other rifles that have better components and are far less likely to malfunction or break ... If you just feel like shooting 308 and don't ever depend on that rifle for your safety. Then who cared.
And there are savage models that are POS as well...Comment

Thanks for the info guys. It would have been $265 in store credit and didn't see anything there that I wanted. I'm only $100 into it, so I think I'll keep it as a beater rifle for the jeepComment
