They make fanny packs specifically for that.

My new po-man's carry system. 3" plastic disk off my wife's tennis ball container over pistol in front pocket or jersey for proper printing.

Works great with twills and shorts.

My commute is 18 miles one way of more or less unoccupied unless by homeless bike trail. I'm big enough most homeless wouldn't want to mess with me but a friend meeting a 2x4 baseball bat has made me rethink my position.

I once witnessed a ride-by bike theft... victim was going at a good clip, bad guy road up from behind on his bike, slugged the victim, grabbed the victim's handlebars as he was falling off the bike, and the bad guy took off... bad guy didn't even coast while he did it, pulled it off pedaling the whole time!

Too bad you didn't get that on video, it would have gone viral.

I'd skip the bag attached to bike too since it would be sitting out on your bike if you stopped to run into a store. I think you're on the right track with the fanny pack. I'd go with a small fanny pack for just the gun and a backpack for everything else.

Don't put your piece on your bike.

I would still recommend some kind of solution where your pistol is on your body and not in a bag as the thief will likely be looking to take anything you are carrying.

Dont forget to cover the trigger!

Small of back. Traditional cycling jersey has the big pocket on the back anyway.

                    Just don't fall off....

OP I cycle a lot... A fanny pack is best, it won't stand out and it stays with you.

i tried a fanny pack, and my wife made fun of me... well, I tried it on a bike ride, late at night after practicing drawing from a sitting position. it wasnt comfortable. i have 2 n frame revolvers. big *** revolvers. i need something smaller because i like the idea of a fanny pack. glock 36 maybe?
