    Surplus ammo from other countries

    Hello,

I understand supply and demand for ammo what I don't understand is where did all the ammo from other countries go. I used to be able to buy blister packs of ammo from South Africa, Guatemala, Israel, Australia to name just a few countries? Where did all this ammo go, I don't think the populace of Australia is buying up all their .556?

I think it's all in NorCal. I see all sorts of smokin' deals on milsurp up there...

The other problem is countries wanting to gain favor with the UN. Even though the BS arms treaty is not in effect, some countries wanting to earn gold stars with the UN will go ahead and restrict arms exports on their own.

Not much up there, just was up there last week.

I am still wondering why Walmart bombed SoCal with all that m855 and not one store between Sacramento and redding got any of it.

Surplus 5.56 was never all that available, just in dribs and drabs. 7.62 was everywhere when countries converted over to 5.56 and got rid of their 7.62, but obviously that can't go on forever.

This might be a little off topic but can a person in Canada ship me ammo here to CA?

                          Thanks,
