Years ago I was set to buy a High-End 45Cal. from Turners in Norwalk when they would not accept my car resistration for the DROS. They lost $2000 and a good customer for LIFE.I will never ever deal with them ever.

That bus full of Japanese tourists with hands full of dollars is coming round the corner, that's why they wouldn't help you. The rules these business makes up, wonder how they stayed in business.

As a past gun sales employee at the afore mentioned establishment, I have always said, they have been successful in spite of themselves. I thought being under new management would make them better, it hasn't. You think they would make changes to avoid future negative press, they don't.

I frequent the Norwalk store and have purchased several pieces from them.
I personally have had good experiences with them, but the CS can be hit or miss.

I've stood at the counter and have waited 15 minutes for someone to help me, even though there are 3 guys working behind the counter and all talking to each other. But most my experiences there have been very positive.

Sorry to hear they did that to you. You should have just driven to Ammo Bros. off Alondra and the 605, just a 5 minute drive down the street.

I suggest making a complaint with corporate. They'll likely do something to make it right.

Those guys in Norwalk are a bunch of jackasses.
They spent 10 minutes trying to talk me out of a Glock
I tried to tell them over and over again that I am a Glock whore
but no luck I got it somewhere else.

i've been frustrated by them, too. i dropped by there once when they had a good deal on a used cz-75; the guy with a beard and no moustache told me i had bad taste in an attempt to get me to buy a sig instead. needless to say, his tactic didn't work and i promptly left.

...while at it, explain to them that as a licensed store-operating FFL in CA, setting up special times or appointments for PPTs is against the law. They must do a PPT at any time during their normal business operating hours when customers (of any interest) are served. Nor is it legal for them to make you wait just because you are doing a PPT, while they serve any other random interest customers that entered the store after you.

I'm not one to call DOJ on dealers for the above (or for much any other reason either). I simply go elsewhere/find a PPT frinedly dealer. call their corporate office & remind them of the law when you complain. Turner's has been doing this crap on PPTs for several years. When will it end?

I was in there (Turners/ Nrwlk) checking out a DE in the display case. I asked about it, but they said it was sold??? Then I asked about buying one from a PP up north and having it sent there, they straight out told me to go to Insight, or Ammo Bros?????????? WTF, biznizz must be slamming there to turn us peasants with $ away!

Probably because they don't get any commision on transfers, only sales, and they don't want to hasssle the paper work.

Keeping a valued customer/ new customer is not worth the 5 mintue paperwork?
That is sad and poor business practice.
I would defintiely make a compaint.
