About a month ago I got 300 rounds of remington target

I got lucky last week and walked out with 2555 rounds, 2x 1000 round boxes of Winchester M2 and a 555 value pack. (3 box limit).

It is all about timing. Ammo is being made and shipped and put on the shelves. People are just buying it up as fast as it is put out.

A week or so ago I got 3000rds. 3 x 1000 pack of M22. They hadn't stocked the case yet and pulled it off the pallet for me.

Not .22 but my wife and I scored 4 100rd packs of 12G birdshot and 2 boxes of .410 slugs last night at my Wally World. They didn't get any .22 at all.

I got some 2 weeks ago but it was just stocked they where the 333 winchester packs got 3 of the 10 that they had

I heard more stock was coming in...got there, and it was barer than two weeks ago. 270, 300 win, 30-06 and 380 acp only Everything else, 30-30, 22 short, 22-250, everything gone. The shipment only had air gun ammo.

I'm thinking, things will get some what better now that our representatives are questioning the senate about all the DHS large AMMO purchases ( 1.6B rounds ) for in Country usage. Can't wait to see what happens when S.S. come up on the carpet for same thing...

1.6 billion rounds farmed out over 5 years. The DHS includes the Coast Guard, Border Patrol, etc. It isn't an unreasonable order, not if you like to think that armed officers have at least semi-regular training. And since the Newhall shooting, officers normally train with the ammo they carry

Many Cal Gunners order more ammo than the DHS just did per armed officer.

Nothing by me. Online stock availability seems off (unless staff are hiding the shipments).

I'm not even .mil and I know RFQ's and IDIQ contracts are a lot different than "they bought X amount of rounds."

It's not the DHS that's causing the shortage.
