Nor Cal QD308/AR10 80% Assistance

Is there anyone in Northern California offering help machining a Quentin Defense 308 80% paperweight? We used to have build parties in San Jose, but they shut down. I think I read once about someone in Sacramento. Any ideas?

There is a new group doing 80% jobs in SJ. They have posted a few times. I don't immediately have a link handy to know if they do 308 ones or not. Try looking in the new "Bay Area Chapter" or Northern California subforums.

Like dean said, there is a new outfit in San Jose that picked up the torch and one also in Sac that will let you mill for free.
I'm looking for group anodizing session in the east bay myself.

The SJ guy is just getting started and he is doing AR15s for the time being, not 308s/10s. The Sacto guy I talked to wasn't free, he wanted over $100

I'm also looking for a build party. I ordered a QD10 80% as well hoping that Jason would someday put together an ar10 setup (he was talking about setting it up in the near future) but they're closed now. . Another norcal BP would be awesome.

I've been bugging Clint (the San Jose guy). Maybe if enough folks ask for the QD308 build parties he will see the light
