THE ELUSIVE SR25 10 rd mag ???

Looked on other forums, but most are dated : So here go's,. In Cali you need a 10 round mag for your AR. I have 7.62x51 AR and can't find a single mag.
I know I can butcher a LR/20 to make the 10 rd, but it is still a really long sucker for only 10 rds, and would get in the way. So hopefully there's information out there that will help.

Would like to try hunting w/this, this year, but not with that 10/20 hanging out there

I'm not sure if you were looking for in-stock mags or just wondering if there are factory 10-round mags.

The 5 rd is an option, but like most Californian's firearm population, I would carry max, as the length is not much different.

To joefrank64k : It would be nice to find one or even 2 10 round mags, but I've looked for months now, and as you know, there's nothing out there, at all.
But if you know something I don't, please let me in on the source...

OK the Librarian posted a link 2013 SB47 YEE AW which opened another forum. there member DEF posted to a separate link about section 32390 penal code SEC 6
subdivision ( B ) about owning a modified ( to lower count ) hi cap mag after Jan,1 2014. I'm not a lawyer, but sounds like ( IF I'VE GOT HIS RIGHT ) you can't purchase or own a even a modified mag after 2014 in ca, if you didn't own it before that date.

Chime in on this if you can shed some lite here ?
