Bullet Buttons and People Who ....

just don't understand what they've purchased. Pretty much the funniest thing I've read today, it could be a joke, but it still had me cracking up. I just picture this poor guy whacking away at the mag release button.

    Aaron G on 03/21/2012 Rating: [1 of 5 Stars!]
Got this rifle today back from my FFL dealer. I loaded the mag just to gage it. It got stuck and my mag release wasnt working so after beating on the gun it finally opened the mag is no more good. Now the bolt wont lock to the rear. Im probably going to have send it back get a new one more paper work and more waiting. Not pleased at all.

I'm surprised how often and how many CA shooters/gun owners I meet at local gun stores and ranges that have never heard of calguns.net. CGN really needs to get some highly visible posters out to every CA gun store and range.

In my experience trying to get out info/flyers/petitions on defeating SB23 last year, there are gun shops that are less than enthused to deal with CGN.

Dumb customers might be easier than smart ones. I dont know. Draw your own conclusions.

This. CGF, and the wiki, have good info backed up by case law and PC, but what some people post here is total crap. What people don't realize that, unless case law or PC is cited, it is someone's OPINION that's being made to sound like law. Librarian does a good job of policing all of that, but it happens a lot. Also, gun stores have their own policies and procedures, and don't want someone telling them they are wrong. That drives them away from CGN. In the South Bay, only metal dog and templar have a CGN presence. BAGV, gun exchange, sportsmans, none of them do.

                        Exactly.

Posts in the centerfire section on occasion testify to this. Some, simply because they are new to a platform or shooting in general and just have no idea what they are doing, others, just no hope. We all start somewhere though, just takes some a minute or two longer to register... took Mr Aaron G a lil longer on this occasion, ha.

Waste of money. punch or something like it has to be carried to eject magazine or you will not be able to reload or change magazines. Not very friendly to use, in fact a pain in the neck. "
