HAM Radio operators, need your help

Thanks for the help fellow Calguners. I found out what I need to know,

HAM Radio operators, need your help
My uncle passed way a few months ago. I was going through his stuff and found this radio in his radio room. My aunt says she would like to sell it but don’t know its value. All his other radio gear was sold off and this was left behind. Maybe somebody here can help.
    Thanks

Wow, did not think to look at online retail. My aunt sold off most of his stuff in an estate sale. This radio was left behind. It was packed away. Glad she did not let it go for a few dollars like all the other stuff.

        Selling radio

Guess its more of a scanner than a radio? My uncle did work in law enforcement.

Its not a radio....its basically a high end scanner. Put it on eBay with a $100 start price.

I looked at the retail listing above, and it says restricted to fcc approved customers only. If it was me I think I would try to keep it as a cool toy
