    22LR For .223?

I seem to have got caught by this crazyness in a unique way.

I have a lot of .223 and thinking I really did not need .22 I would not mind adding to that side of my needs.

Would you trade .223 for .22 ...if so what would be a fair exchange for say some Wolf or equal Tul ?

I would not mind say an added 1000 rnds of .22LR

    Thanks

22lr is out there, just like .223. Finding it takes some effort for both. Not sure where you're at, but Walmart Milpitas had 22lr this week ($21.77/550) and the Sac gun show today had .223 at $.75/round and less.

Private party transactions seem to be driving the gouge factor with 22lr selling for $50-110 per ~500 (both prices ranges from Classifieds on this board).

Ammo drought can't last forever and once ammo manufactures reallocate the brass/lead to 22lr that will flow more too.

I don't really need ammo. I've seen this "Shortage" coming a mile away So I stocked up in the summer when it was plentiful and cheap. Not to say I can't use some more If I am at the store that has some quality ammo for sale Ill pick some up But I have enough stored away to weather this storm.

I would trade pre-panic dollar value for pre-panic dollar value.

(I'm not looking to trade, but that seems fair as both .223 and .22lr are being inflated to high hell right now.)

                  Tula .223, 20 round box is $5
                  Winchester/Federal 22lr 555 round box is $20

So fair trade would be 4 boxes of Tula .223 for 1 box of bulk 22lr

I got more than enough rimfire ammo, but I don't feed my ARs with communist ammo that is very un-American, it might choke. Sorry!

trade pre panic for pre panic. i did that just this weekend. i have quite a few boxes of the federal value pack 12 gauge (100 rounds) from walmart that i had collected. i think they were right around $23 each at walmart. i've been looking for .22lr to start teaching my song to shoot.

i put an ad up on armslist to trade my bulk pack 12gauge for federal bulk pack 525 22lr. i had a guy who wanted to trade his 525 for 150 rounds of 12, told him i was just doing straight swap since they were the same cost pre panic. he eventually agreed. now he can go do his trap/skeet shooting and i have an extra brick to teach my boy to shoot.
