Visit to Ammo Bros Friday, 3/15/13

I went to the Cerritos location about 1pm, to see if they had the hardened gun cases I was looking for when they were out. They had the cases, but not the correct size. I then saw Pelican cases and whoooo, the correct size. I wanted to price them.
I then looked at ammo. I believe they had the spam cans,7.62X54. They also had .30cal ball from Korea, in US cans. From Korea; Korean writing(Hungul) all over the cans.
Anyway there was a guy there browsing the aisles and then he asked one of the workers if any 9MM or .22cal was to be had. They said they were out at the present time.
I looked at the AR's behind the counter and the full AR's were about a dozen or so on the wall racks.
Just wanted to keep people informed.

Ontario is also stocked with some crates of 7.62x54R.

      Their RELOADED .223 was .80 a round...

      A 250 box of UMC Remy .45 was $119

The CHEAPEST AR on the rack was $1250ish.. basic carbine with basic furniture.. and S&W MP15 Magpul edition was $2000

      A Saiga AK47 .. stamped reciever was over $1500

LOTS of ammo.. no .22 or 9mm as stated..

They did have a Keltec twin-tube shotty on display.. taking deposits with no ETA On delivery.. $1250 paid 100% up front.

      Lots of stuff.. "ehh" prices.

I am hoping to swing by the Ammo Bros in Ontario to see what they've got. I've never been there, but I plan on checking that place out.

Ammo Bros in Ontario is about half the size as the location in Cerritos. I attempted going to the Ontario show, but left due to the crowds. I went to Ammo Bros nearby and some of the overflow was there. Nothing on the shelves, but that was then. They may have more stuff now as time passes. Still plenty of the 7.62X54 I believe as in Cerritos.
            Don't know about 22 or 9mm though.
            good hunting!

I DROS'ed a 92FS at the Ontario store on 3/9 right when they opened. The salesperson told me they had 9mm in stock, asked to see a box. The shelf was already empty of every 9mm box they had just stocked.

I was at the ontario location a couple times this past week, they are starting to get more stuff in, they had quite a few 7.62x39 cases behind the counter at $9 per box and you were limited to 5 boxes. They had federal .223 420 rounds for $489.99. They also have AR15 & AR10 lowers in stock, even some polymers at about $119. On saturday they finally got some powder in stock but the popular stuff, 335, 332 was gone.

I'm convinced people only want to buy .22lr because there is none to be found - therby creating demand when there wasn't one before.

                      You are sadly mis-guided.
