    Adam Corolla..

OK, So which of you guys called in to Adam's show this morning to get his views on gun control?
He did say he was all over the map on the subject and does have some really F*%#@) ideas about it.That said, he also said he owns some and that its a bad idea to have your gun under your bed and your ammo locked up in the basement.
I'm torn, I like his show, but might have to find other entertainment for the morning drive...

I don't think it should be under the bed either.

      thats for wussies.

real men grip the gun under the pillow while sleeping, with the hammer cocked and a round in the chamber, and the barrel facing you.

      just kidding!

He could have said ban all guns forever and I would still listen to him, the guy is hilarious.

This goes along with the Tom Leykis thread.

These guys are entertainers, they get paid to say entertaining stuff.

At least he didn't say guns were evil . . .

I didn't listen this morning, but he has made comments in the past. Seems pretty elitist about guns and doesn't like "banana clips" and AK47s according to some of his past remarks.

I think that he is just ignorant about them AK-47's series rifles like 90% of the population. They all think that they are Machine Guns because of the movies and the way the media airs the stories. We just need to call him/e-mail him and educate him...

As a carpenter / contractor, I dug Adam's "Mr. Birchum" (sp?) skit, but rarely listen anymore.

                  Interesting guy

He's correct on his view of firearms. I don't think he even knows what his views are. They probably change with the shifting of the wind.
As pointed out, He's an entertainer and gets paid for people to listen.

I used to listen to him when he was on Loveline. Entertaining stuff to listen too when coming home from a party or something. I never heard him talk about firearms of any kind.

I am really hoping he promotes "The Hammer" tomorrow just to change things up.

Also hoping Brian drops sound FX the entire time people are talking. It's not annoying or lame at all.

                        Yes, I still listen (begrudgingly).

A little OT, but I was listening to John and Ken a few weeks ago, and someone called in about CA gun rights. One of them (John) quickly dismissed the issue as one that is irrelevent(sp) and for wacko's. Fight the power.

Thank your neighbor and fellow gun owners for passing Prop 63. For that gun control is a winning legislative agenda.

Hmm.. dunno. He's really into carpentry and cars and generally, those guys are pretty stand-up type of guys. After VA Tech, he came out for CCW on campus and equated it to the Air Marshal idea on planes.
