    SW model 410s

Does anyone have one of these double action pistols, if so how do they shoot?

    Any problems with jamming?

In genneral how do you rate this gun compared to similar priced guns.

Does anybody know the going rate for a used one in great condition,

I have seen one in great condition- like new but no box, its on consignment for $599 plus tax/dros i think this is a very steep, your thoughts please.

I had the Mod 411 (same gun) for about 17 years and it performed flawlessly with any ammo that I put through it. $599 seems steep to me, they tend to go in the $400 range on gunbroker.com.

It is just a plain vanilla 40S&W, you won't go wrong with one.

I also own a 411, never had a jam or any other mechanical problem with it. Acurracy is good, I typically get 2.75" - 3.5" groups @ 25 yards with my marksmanship being more of a limiting factor than anything.

I prefer the newer polymer S&W pistols like the SW99 or the M&P, mainly because I find the ergonomics better in the newer pistols, but the 410 series pistols seem well made. The $599 price does seem high though.

        Thanks Kanuga and Wonder9.

I typically like the style of this pistol which is important to me when buying a semi auto, that and that it functions well. good to know you think that price is to high i thought $450 sounded more like it, i shall try and get it knocked down or look else were for one.
