I just wonder how many of our 21K MGs are with Private Individuals vs Movie Industry, LE, Dealers, etc...
Some have to be owned by Individuals that have kept them for the last few decades. I find it hard to believe that Californians lost 21K Transferable MGs in a boating accident.

Doubt they are in Police hands. I don't know of a single department other than federal police that uses machine guns for anything other than testing.

I would guess that "entertainment" (film/TV/Stage) productions own most of the MG's. Most of the rest would belong to museums, dealers for demo purposes, and a very, very few belong to private individuals as personal property.Comment
