I heard about a small ammo company that is selling product to citizens first (vs. other, larger companies that have government contracts and their products go to government first and leftovers go to the general public for sale) and decided to take a look. I thought that was a cool perspective and would be interested in supporting that model.
Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to afford to support their model. I thought $.50-$.75 per round for .223 was on the way end high side of the pricing spectrum, but given current availability/demand, can somewhat understand the pricing. But $2.00 (two dollars!) per round is absolutely out of my affordability range (even if they are carefully handmade and not mass/machine produced). I can see paying a small to moderate premium for thier model, but not this.

Maybe when things calm down a bit, their pricing levels will change.
