    Tac TV

Just finished watching a program where they were shooting a mixture called Southern Thunder (AKA Tanerite). They were so proud of themselves that they could hit a box about 50 square inches at 100 yards! Give me a break we regularly shoot clays about 450 yards with our AR15 in 223 and 308. With the 308 we can then hit the pieces. They appear to be a bunch of boobs!

Well for a shooting show they are miles ahead of the rest of them.

Yeah, Larry Vickers is clearly a boob with no real world experience. But look out for Mr. Casull, he can hit a clay pigeon at 450 yards!!!1!!

Of all the TV hosts to call out, LAV is probably a poor choice in that regard. The man probably forgot more about guns between 2 and 3 this afternoon than OP has ever known.

Try that with a belt fed, with removable barrel. They are not known for their accuracy.

LV is as close to a shooting god as can be but...

they do have some ridiculous episodes. how about the one where they "test" the AK vs the AR? shooting full sized steel targets at 100-200 yds with iron sights? that was a joke. and he missed some of the shots with the AR! beyond ridiculous.

The fact that he doesn't edit out his misses like practically every other show should tell you something.

Yeah because it's easy to get 100% hits on target with a battle rifle while shooting off hand at 100-200 yards. LOL

Be happy they don't edit the misses out. It makes the show a lot more interesting to watch.
