Hi has anyone been to any of the really big gun shows in the last 3 months ? Thinking of checking out THE BIG RENO GUN SHOW in April 2013. Would like to know if it's possible to still find sr 25 10 round 308 mags. My new rifle has none, so almost useless. Also dose Miwal still have good supplies of ammunition, ( new & reload ) and are prices just up, bad , real bad, or super over inflated. Thanks Guys...

Huh : I guess nobody here go,s to the big gun shows anymore. Oh well, I guess I'll have to be the one who reports back on the situation out there. If anybody wants to know something about the show in particular, post it here and will take a look. personally I want to know if 308 10 round mags mags are available, and what there charging for them, as I have exactly 0 of these. I really sucks when you get a new rifle and all the mags are bought up, and no back order. The last time I went was in Aug. and there was mountains of them. But did I buy any, no, and why not, because I could get them on the net for a good price, WRONG !

Many people will go, it is big, bring a hand cart and full wallet and be early. The rest is up to you. Watch out for gouging. Let us know how it turns out. Good luck!Comment

I was thinking about going & checking it out. I'm not that far from Reno but I'm worried about the crowd. Standing in a 2-3 hour line or having to get there hours early is not worth it to me.Comment

Yep : I'll check the reloading supplies. And as far as the lines are concerned, in Aug. when I was last there, I got in line 1 1/2 hrs early, and it was about 75-80 people back on the ammo side ( Miwal ) and about 40 people back in the other line were I was. I didn't know which was which, at the time. When I got in, there was still lots of ammo, BUT this was pre-election time. And that's why I posted this, to see if anyone has been since, as I could use a little heads up on this new post election times at the very large gun shows. Also really needed to know if miwal ran out early on reloaded & new ammunition. especially 22lr, as I haven't been to the the range for quite some time now. the wife is also bummed that we are unable to enjoy some sport shooting. So if anybody out there has been, please share some info. Thanks...Comment
