    Berretta CX4 STORM carbine.

Is it legal here in California if you get it with an extension, do you need an extension, the magazine goes in the grip. I would like one for the wife. Looks fugly but it seems well put together.

I believe someone here a couple years ago had one with out a bullet button. But he cut some plastic pieces and bondo'ed them into the pistol grip of the stock thus making a featureless rifle. he posted a how to thread if i remeber correctly

I think they look sexy...to each his own. I want one. I have even looked into getting a Hi-Point and the conversion stock from ATI.

I made inserts to fill the thumb hole stock before there were bullet buttons. I would sell them along with spacers if someone wanted them so they could bring a cx4 in.

Need bullet button, or fill in the hole in the stock as others have mentioned. Also, I believe the factory configuration is just a tad short of the OAL requirement, so you do need an extension or two to push it over.

ATI no longer produces the HP stock and if you can still find one know that they ONLY fit the old style 9mm. They never produced one to fit the .40 or .45 and the newer TS models don't fit in any caliber.

How hard can it be to fill in a hole in a thumbstock? Just glue in a piece of form fitted plastic. Done.

It's not horribly difficult. But I wanted it to be removable and to leave zero evidence it had been there so it took a bit longer. One could hack it together with drywall screws or jb weld, but I'm not a hack.
