    Subterranean firing range?

So was reading up on the homes of the rich and famous and found one in San Gabriel that has its own subterranean firing range.
Wow, wonder what LA County requires for that.
The San Gabriel Valley compound is being sold by real estate investment and management company founder Donald Abbey.
    For Sale!!

Not necessarily. One tactic I've heard of is to build (and get permits for) an underground safe room. One with lots of ventilation since, of course, it's important to breathe when you're locked down. Once the permits have been signed off and all inspections done, who is to know how you choose to finish an empty 30' x 100' concrete room?

How many CG'ers do we need to all go in on it together?

As of this post, there are currently 35,275 "active" members on CGN.

Considering the value of this property, split evenly, that would be $2,240 each active member would have to contribute.

Of course, everyone will want their turn on the range which, if open year round, would have to accompany 97 members a day (35,275/365).

Not knowing the layout of the range, I'll just assume there's only 3 firing lanes (it's a private, personal range after all, why need more than 3?). That's 32 members per lane, per day. Which mean that each member will get less than 1 hour to shoot per year.

So $2,240 for 1 hour of shooting, once a year. I'll stick with BLM land.
