I just wanted to take a moment to say "Thank you" to our California customers. Thank you for your patience and your business. We understand how trying things are for gun owners and especially California gun owners.
WeaponsWorld.com will continue to ship magazines above 10 rds as re-build kits at no extra charge and without the need for you to specify on your order. We do not advertise this service anywhere else as its a pain in the butt to break them down but feel strongly that California and the Calguns members deserves this service.
I realize we all have the same questions. When will we get more ammo. The answer to that is unknown. The manufacturers are making ammo as fast as they can but it would seem the Federal Govt has contracted to have all FMJ ammo shipped to them first. What I mean by that is they have such huge orders in place that the manufacturers are afraid to not fill them. The Govt pays and remembers when you don't fulfill a contract. So the rest of us have to wait until the Fed contract is filled. And lately the Fed seems to have a never ending appetite for ammunition. This may be something we want to address to our pro-gun senators.
We are being told it could be 8 months before any substantial amount of ammo shows up. These circumstances may effectively drive most smaller mom and pop shops who depend on ammo or black rifle sales out of business. The big box retailers like Walmart, Cabela's and Sports Authority have nothing to fear as they are cross-diversified and sell many other products for fishing, athletics, home goods etc. In addition the administration is trying to prevent online ammo sales and force customers into buying from newly licensed ammo dealers along with special approval to buy over 1000 rds. Of course who knows how hard it will be to become a "licensed" ammo dealer in the future.
WeaponsWorld.com is working on many changes. Both to our website and how we do business as a whole. One thing that is a top consideration in all our discussions has been "you" the California customer. Rest assured if there is a way to give you what you want. We will find a way to do it.
Sincerely,
Russ
