    Problem with gun light and rechargable batteries

    I have 2 different leaper gun mounted flashlights i have tried 2 different rechargeable batteries cr123a and these batteries blew out my light bulbs they are rated at 3v like the regular batteries whats happening? by the way these batteries where from japan or china

    First problem is they are Leaper's flashlights. Check those batteries a little closer they are probably more like 3.4+ volts instead of 3.0.

      they read 3.0v but i tested them on volt meter and it read 3.3 to 3.5 i think the voltage changes on rechargables in fact i read on label charged 3.5 down to 2.4 drained... guess thats it hmmmmm
