    Anti-Gun article on Cracked

Here is a very poorly written article by some editor on cracked.com. It's worth a read.

I tend to agree. I think the NRA cares more about gun manufacturers than gun owners.

"The NRA was not included as an organization that will have to disclose contributions because an agreement between Democrats and the NRA exempted organizations that have over one million members, have been in existence for more than 10 years, have members in all 50 states, and raise 15% or less of their funds from corporations, from the disclosure requirements."
I don't know what your standards are, but for me having at least 85% of funding coming from membership dues and private donations wouldn't make me a shill for manufacturers (ie, corporations).

I doubt very much that the Quiznos loyalty program reaches nearly 10% of everyone in America who eats sandwiches.

While cracked.com is the absolute pinnacle of internet dick-jokes, expecting their take on politics to be a rational even-handed portrayal is laughable.

That maybe true but Gun Manufacturers rely on Gun Owners for existence. Without Gun Owners there would be no need for Gun Manufacturers.
If there was No Second amendment who would need Gun manufacturers ?
Colt would Make rifles for the Military.
S & W can make Handguns for for Police.
Ruger can Make carbines for Police ?
And Remington can Make shotguns and precision rifles for both.
And That's it no one would need Howa, Mossberg, Bushmaster, Daniel Defence, Taurus, Winchester etc...

Very first fact is actually false...50 million...more like 90-100 at least.

Also, while more people should join the NRA, 4.5 million members is no laughing matter. The League of American Cyclists (founded in 1880) has only 24,000 paid memberships. That millions would join speaks volumes. And just because I don't belong to an organization doesn't mean I disagree with it...I don't belong to Gun Owners of California, yet I am not in disagreement with them, not fundamentally. I don't belong to many groups that I agree with because, hey unemployed and don't have money to give them and priorities. But even when I was employed, I prioritize.

NRA is not a shill for manufacturers...what stupid *** comment is that.
