Is she really standing outdoor parameter security...with an 4.6mm SMG?

I really don't care myself, I see guys using 12" wrenches for hammers all the time... that doesnt mean I am going to start issuing them to my roofing crew Like this Department did to her.

Cycle cops need SBRs, chambered in 7.62 or 5.56. They need sidearms just like any Officer.

Cop cars all need SBRs and SBSs in the trunk, as well as teddy bears, candy bars, med-kits and smoke grenades.

SWAT vans need SBRs, SBS, SMGs, unmanned drones, side looking radar, thermal imagining... ect.

If you guys don't understand the simplest form of load-out, I can offer my services at a price....

Discrete carry ? Kind of a crappy pic but there was definitely an ad under that bag. Saw it at an earth day thing in Santa Barbara.

            Anyway,

I saw a patrol officer on a bike in Burbank with a CTR and what I swear was a moe handguard.

I won't gripe about the police woman having that weapon, but I will point out, that as a normal issue citizen, I would also like to be well-armed for a potential confrontation with a similar shooter.

"....hiding in a neighborhood..." ie, where us citizens sleep at night.

Same deal with the cartels. I don't confront cartels on a daily basis, but one never knows when such a thug will confront me, the average guy. I too, should be well armed, as is purposed in the Second Amendment.

Cool rack for the bikes. Wonder what kind of trouble I'll be in if I put one on my BMW?

Ha, that would be pretty amazing to see. You could open carry with a rifle slung on your back while riding your bike right? Pretty sure they would pull you over though, last thing LEO wants to see is a citizen excising their Rights. But the enclose system they use made available to the civilian market would be impressive.

I'm behind the times. I tended to think motor officers primary duty was traffic issues. How can that AR be well secured in the evnt the bike is in an accident. It happens all the time to LE, they get hit too. At least with a car the AR is locked away in a locked trunk. On a bike it is a focus item since it is so readily seen. Maybe the smaller HK locked in the side compartment of a bike is better.

LE patrol officers don't get into longer range gun battles in a city, they have SWAT snipers for that. Maybe the chance for that exists, but I would think that would be in a more rural area.
I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong...

I guess when there's a fire at a bowling alley, there meant to scare off the looters.
There were 2 bikes in front of the fire trucks visible to motorist and pedestrians passing by.

As a cop, I'm all for an effective means to increase firepower. That 4.6mm round will penetrate body armor. Is similar in capability to .223/5.56.

Motor Officers dont have a whole lotta room to carry a battle rifle. The MP7 can fit in a Motorcycle saddlebag/ remain out of view of the public, be protected from the elements, but still be put into service at a moments notice.

Why is that a bad thing?
I was thinking the same exact thing, plus we dont know the background story to the picture.

A department can issue her anything they want, a city counsel can do the same... and an expert in this field can tell them they are freaking idiots... so you need to chill as well.

Its the first time I have seen that pic, so I really don't care how long its been in existence.. I can show you a pic of a guy in 1965 using a rubber tube as a rifle sling... does that mean your analysis of his gear isn't valid? Again...you need to pop before you pop a vein over a thread on the net...LOL
No offense Diesel, seems like you are the only one popping a vein here.
