    Brownells Price Increase

Just did a little shopping and found some significant price increases at Brownells - the Chip McCormick AR trigger went from $133.00 to $186.00 with FFL discount, from $178.00 to $199.00 without. Noticed another few items that increased about 10% or so.

Maybe it's not the best comparison, but it kind of irks me a bit to pay about $150.00 for a whole darn lower and have the trigger (even a Jard or JP) almost double the cost. Good thing we're all rich, right?

    Price increases suck
Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.

RRA has also forced Brownells to elliminate the FFL discount on their triggers and other items.

              Save your money.

Buy USGI trigger and hammer and hone and polish them up.

From Brownells, yes...but if you have an FFL and resale permit, you can set yourself up as a RRA distributor. So far I am not impressed with RRA's turnaround/order filling, I assume they must be incredibly busy making goodies.

I noticed the same thing I put in a pretty big order to them this week for some projects I have going on. Not huge increases less than about 10% give or take. Some grips at my cost in the catalog were 30 but came up 33.69 but you still cant beat there prices. Gota love that C&R discount too!

No I have not and I am sure they are nice? Its just for now I have upgraded my stuff to the point where I am happy with what I have.
I have a couple of JP's and a couple of T/H's I have played with and I really can hardly tell the difference between them.

I'm still looking for a good trigger deal, the JP seems good, but I wonder if buying their hammer with it is required. I don't know about the Jard other than an OK price.
