Size, weight, distance moved, pathway, and location safe will be placed all come into account. For a decent size/weight safe you can expect to spend at least $500.

Oh Boy! I'd suggest mounting it ASAP. If you have a choice, don't lift/haul yourself. Good luck!

size and weight is the only issue. Getting a safe bolted doesn't
cost that much, and can be done pretty easily. You can pay
for safe moving company which will cost alot more, or just use
house movers and bolt the safe yourself. I just used my movers paid
them 100 dollars and bolted the safe myself. you need concrete drill
        anchors and srews.

I rented a uhaul utility trailer with ramp along with their appliance dolly. My safe weighs 550#. I was surprised at how easy it was. Just be sure to have them take it off the pallet before they load it.

It's actually not hard if you rent a truck with a lift gate and the correct dolly. Bolting it to the foundation takes a couple minutes if you have a hammer drill and 3/8" wedge anchors. You can drill the holes with a regular drill too, it just takes a lot longer.

Good point. It's 32"W 24"D 60"H and 850lbs, and the pathway should be short and easy. I thought of doing this myself with friends/family, but I'm concerned about damaging my tile floor or walls. I'm thinking experience and the right tools will make this more pleasant.

Hopefully I seemed encouraging, my intent anyway. Mine was easy to drill/mount, sure sucked on the stairs tho, even with a good Dolly.

Throw down some plywood if you're worried about the tile, but it should hold up fine. Once you have it almost in position just slide it into place, walls will be fine. 850lbs really isn't too heavy of a safe. And take the door off to reduce the load.

Some places offer what you what done as an option at checkout. Pricing depends on how big the safe is plus bolting it down. Probably looking around $500.

Call Liberty safe of san jose. They may know some reputable companies in your area. They are super nice and great to work with.

Can anyone recommend a safe moving company in the Fresno area? I live in the Merced area and I'll soon need one delivered and bolted down.

For anyone who has had this done, what would the expected cost be? My situation would be about an hour drive for them, safe brought in a single story house with one threshold, and bolted down to concrete.

                          Thanks for any help!
screw that man! the mover's are probably in on the take!

Sell the safe and buy a puzzle one and have it delivered to your new house. Never have to pay a moving fee again.
