LTC-10 Day

I know that this has been posted before but I want to rant for the next 8 days.


Why o why should I have to wait or cool off. I have a ccw permit and I need to wait. This is BS. How can I cool off when Im pissed about waiting. The weather is great right now and I cant shoot my new girl. The forecast is saying the weather is going to crap when I bail it out of jail. Speaking of bail, sense I have a LTC why couldnt I pay a bail to the DOJ to get it out or not even go in. Almost sounds like a good idea for the few privileged here in CA. This is not my first firearm buy but it still feels like the first time. Rant over for now.

If you were wondering.... its a Remington 700 AAC-SD, with 20 moa rail, rings and scope taking up space in the closet.

Actually, in Washington State when I lived there, if you had a CCW permit, you bypassed the 10-day wait and were able to pick up the gun right then and there. And since it was a shall-issue state, it took a whole 4 days from when I paid the fees until I got the permit. At that point, it more than made it worthwhile just for the savings on gas and time!
