Thermold Mags

Anybody had any experience with Thermold mags for a Mini-14.

Good, Bad, Ugly?

They are decent mags. I did have to file off a small amount of the upper forward section of the feed lips to clear the bolt properly on the older Thermolds. Not sure if the newer Thermolds had the same issue.

They are not as good as the Ruger magazines, but they do work well with just the little tweek I did to mine.

If you can find the Ruger mags, I would spend the additional money on them because they always work flawlessly. The pre panic price was around $50.00 each on the Ruger Mags.

Thanks Hogleg... I have Ruger mags for mine, but a friend from AZ. called and asked if I knew about Thermolds. He just picked up a mini.

I tried 3 different brands in mine years ago, and the only ones worth a damn were the Rugers.
