Copy of the DROS paper work

Why do some dealers not want to give the buyer a copy of the DROS paper work?
The last few transactions I have done, some dealers gave it to me no problem and other would not.
    What is the big deal?

    From the BOF FAQs

12.Is a dealer required to give a copy of the DROS information to the purchaser?
Upon request, the dealer must give the purchaser a copy of the signed DROS record. In private party transactions, the seller is also entitled to a copy of the DROS record upon request.

    (PC section 12076(c))
What the big deal is, I have no idea.
    Jim

FFLs are like any other retailer...

Some are good, some are bad. Keep looking for the good ones to support.

Because they think since they dont have to give you a copy of the 4473, then they dont have to give you a copy of the DROS.
