    Laser etching service

I'd like to laser etch numbers, letters, and maybe a design on the slide of a semi-auto handgun....The type of the laser etching on some modern tools. What, where, who you recommend? Thanks!
I'd rather have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

These guys do awesome work if you don't mind shipping it to them.

SoCal (SD, OC, IE, LA for now)...I'd like to avoid shipping if possible and meet etcher/engraver FTF to mitigate mistakes due to potential losses in translation for the end product desired. Not looking to do anything immediately just yet...just putting together a list of reputable and competent services that I might want to commission work to be done in the future.

Try a local monument shop or a trophy shop.

Here's a place in San Fernando. I haven't personally had anything done (yet), but what I've seen of their work is nice.
