    Handgun Safety Certificate

Just got my hsc and noticed the guy wrote down my birth date incorrectly. Other than the obvious, is it going to slow down the process of me showing I have an hsc in my possession? Or can it be corrected on the spot? Thx guys/gals.

I would go back to the shop and talk to them. They should be able to correct it or issue a new one.
Last year I had to have mine corrected (long story) and the state informed me that they do not keep those records and that I would need to go back to the issueing shop for the correction. The shop said we could just use some white out and correct it. After a few minutes, I conviced them that it would be better to issue a "new" HSC.

Are you still there? Correct it.

On my first one the gave the expiration at 4 years instead of 5 years. I noticed it a couple of years after issuance and brought it back to the shop to tell them about it. They just wrote over the date.
