head over to m1911.org and check other taurus owner's reviews of the pistol (in the taurus sub-forum)... most seem to have good luck with theres while several have been plagued with problems.CRPA Lifetime MemberComment

No, no XCR. Just too pricey - even if I bought it at cost, I would want all the delicious accessories and would end up with a $2.5k rifle instead of an $800 one. lol.
I really like handguns best. Someday I would like to do some long range rifle classes. Until then, I'll go with what I've got.
Call me silly, but Desert Eagles are the sexiest things out there.
