Tabors San Bruno, ca - Frank

Does anyone know Frank the owner of Tabors in San Bruno, CA?

My father brought him an old 1894 Winchester front sight to have it repaired, and Frank has since closed the store. My poor dad is really bummed about the sight being missing, and we have attempted to have letters forwarded from the old address with no success. Would be great if I could get a hold of Frank to get this part back, Fixed or not.

If anyone knows him, or has a contact number or address please send me a PM.

Thank for any and all help!

Im not surprised. He had a I-dont-give-a-**** attitude the last few months he was open.

He did have that attitude for sure.

But, he was a true American and i'm sure if it was brought to his attention he'd make it right.

He's still around, i hope you can track him down.

Oh sure i respect him for who he is, but just trying to say its easy to see how things like that could slip through the cracks (and get swept into the trash). Sorry the OP is missing a front sight. Perhaps you can find a replacement.

chickenfried - Thanks for the id Information, and I will try to send him a message.

Thanks for the information all. I'm pretty sure it was one of those slipped through the cracks, and I'm sure closing a business after years is a big job. He also mentioned having to "fire up the torches at home" when my father dropped off the sight, so it could be just laying around in a pile of parts or something. I think the sight was original to the rifle which is why it's a bit tough to just find a replacement. My poor dad wanted to keep the rifle period correct etc.

              Thanks again all.

Local BATFME is, I think, in Tracy. They may have current contact info.

Doesn't surprise me Frank ripped me off years ago, glad he's gone.
