    Deadliest Tech Military Channel

I was watching Deadliest Tech on the Military Channel this am. It had a segment on the Browning M2 .50 cal machine gun. It discussed how Marine Corp. sniper Carlos Hathcock, mounted a scope (his own design) and used it as a sniper rifle in Vietnam, and dusted a guy (confirmed kill) at 1.39 miles. All I can say is DANG that guy is good!!!!

Apparently the VC who got hit was standing right where Hathcock had sighted in the Ma Deuce Sniper Edition the previous day. Note: Don't stand next to .50 Cal-sized holes in the ground.

          Chuck Mahwinney wasn't bad either...

On Valentine's Day 1969, Mawhinney encountered an enemy platoon and killed 16 North Vietnamese Army soldiers with head shots from his M14 rifle.
