    Vallejo Gun Show

Did anyone go to the Vallejo Gun Show this Saturday? Just trying to find out if it is worth going to.

    Not yey/ not this time.

Vallejo tends to be NOt as good as the cow palace. MUCH better than the Napa. A Tad better than the last Chico show I went to, About in lines with the Redding one(s). Its been far tooooo long since I went to a Colusa, San Jose or Sac show to give a value assessment.

They Do got GOOOOOD Beef Jerky

And if its Miwell, which me thinks it is, they usually have decent ammo in stock for a fair price if'n you get there early............

LAST Vallejo show....only a smattering of AR parts and nothing steller in terms of prices. Definite good show if'n you like older guns/classics...they just dont always have a 'ton" of them.

    YMMV............................

It was packed. There was a line to get in pretty much the whole morning. Miwall was busy as heck. I grabbed the last case of SA .308 to keep someone else from buying it while I waited about 10 minutes to actually buy it. Sonoma did have a lot of ar stuff, so did a couple other vendors but prices were pretty high. Pretty much the usual stuff. If it wasn't for Miwall I wouldn't go at all.

Damn I miss the gunshows of the 80s and early 90s when you could buy all sorts of cool stuff for super cheap prices.

Sure was crowded! If your going go and purchase ammo you've probably waited to late!

              Vallejo gun shows

gun shows in vallejo are a waste of time. I went to my last one there. It is a sorry excuse for the gun industry. NRA should not even be there. I don't know what is happening when the show sponsers will not even support the NRA. ca. is going to the dogs as for as guns are conserned.

Anyway, the show was alright... I still like the Cow Palace show better though.

Parking was $5.00.... alot cheaper than the Cow Palace show. Actually, you can save on parking at the Cow Palace show if you're brave enough to park on the street out in front of the place and walk on in.

Wasn't as bad as some make it out to be. Lots of rifles and if ya know what ya want going in, it was a good day for ammo.

Granted there were not alot of handguns and the ones there were overpriced (of the ones i know anything about). I actually liked it better than the Cow Palace show. More guns (rifles) and less trinket vendors.

I picked up a nice locking gun case and range bag for cheap and 2000 rds of reloads. Yes 'twas a good day.

I've been out there once or twice. Basically smaller than the Vallejo show and without Miwall there to sell ammo. I haven't been in a couple years because they just weren't worth the trip out there. But if it's close, go by, if for nothing else to support the show being there. Pluse you never know when a good deal might just pop up.
