I shoot my handguns and rifles on the 50 yard line at Metcalf all the time (no "lane changes"). But for a new shooter, that is a long way away...

I like being able to bring in the target and see the results at an indoor range whenever I want and not have to wait for a cease fire.

Jackson Arms minimum distance for rifles is 15yds and max at 25yds. They have three rifle lanes and one was broken last week. I would also mount a flashlight on your weapon because it's pretty darn dark at 25yds.

I've gone over the cardinal rules of firearms handling with her, but I'd like to use the coaching area too. The little reminder/review will help since it'll be hard to hear on the range.
I'll also just be bringing the M1S90 and the USP since the AR is not sighted in right now.
