    PMAG Rebuild Kits?

I've been looking at getting some 10/30 PMAGs and I've been seeing a lot of things called rebuild kits. Can anyone enlighten me as to what these are for? Are they just disassembled mags? If so I've seen 30 round rebuild kits for sale here in California, wouldn't that make them illegal? And I know you can put blockers in them but how do you make them "permanently" blocked? Glue the floor plate? Thanks

No, they aren't illegal, they are rebuild kits http://wiki.calgunsfoundation.org/La...city_magazines

Rivets, epoxy, sticks, machined delrin blocks, plastic coat hangers, etc. Just put them together with something in the way to keep them from holding 10 rounds, it's not a mystery.

So as long as there is a rivet or epoxy on the bottom so you can't disassemble them, you're good to go?

Rebuilt kits are for either repairing existing mags or blocking into 10 rounders.

There's lots of threads on techniques in the centerfire forum.
