Don't bullet button make you reload faster and turn guns into fully automatic ones?

You are going to hear a LOT of erroneous bullcrap from callers and radio personalities on KGO. ESPECIALLY about anything RKBA and gun culture. It's nearly always been that way. They always attempt to equivocate gun ownership to a false connection to "violence". Never mind that it is 10% (in the cities experiencing this) of mostly gang affiliated non law abiding people doing it all, and not legal gun owners - and that you have a Constitutional individual right to bear arms regardless.

KGO is very much a leftist progressive rhetoric radio station. They lost most of all their good people many years ago. The only person I would listen to at times was Bill Wattenburg. However he has gone elsewhere. Most of the Bay Area news feeds pretty much echo the same slant to their news and editorializing - even to repeating exact phrases - so you can catch a lot of what that rhetoric is like without listening to KGO anyway; which you should at times, you should read or listen to what others are saying, even if they are wrong, so you get the narrative and information to make well rounded opinions and arguments. If all you are tuning to is editorializing that you agree with and feel it feeds your personal bias, you are not informing yourself well enough. You do need to consider what others are saying and doing, as even if they are patently wrong - you need to know and be informed as it can effect you regardless.

This ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^is exactly right. KGO has always been a left slanted station with their talk show hosts spewing misinformation when it comes to firearms and RKBA. Anytime a reasonable person brought up a view other than the host's opinion, the host would simply switch them off. I've heard it so many times it used to infuriate me. Ray Taliaferro, Bernie Ward (How's stoney lonesome ***ch ?), Gill Gross, John Rothmann, Brian Copeland, Karel, Christine Craft etc.

Only sometimes Ronn Owens was a little better, with Dr. Bill Wattenburg being the only conservative host.

Thank God in the late 1990's there was the start of conservative talk hosts that brought up conservative views.

Christine Craft is a fill-in talk show host on KGO and in addition to being a lawyer, is a gun owner and full 2nd amendment supporter

I have even heard Craft spout nonsense, it's aggravating all the bs I hear even at the local gun stores.

Ron Owens says he is for the second amendment but no one needs assault weapons. You are right that sometimes he is a little better than the rest. Atleast he lets people talk even if he throws in a snide remark or doesn't agree with them.

We need to get Gene on Ron Owens' show. Gene does a great job and I always listen to him when he is on Gun Talk or California Gun Talk but that is preaching to the choir.

We need to get our people on middle of the road radio stations and even left stations. Our message needs to get out and some people who are interested in guns who don't know gun owners need to know that they are not alone.

KGO was not always liberal, in the early 90s they had a number of conservative hosts who all moved to KSFO once that station was founded.

Sometimes I'm tempted to call in when they talk about guns because I feel it would be easy to school the host or any previous callers, but I'm afraid of getting nervous and my rhetoric suffering. It would be neat if CalGuns had a go-to person or two ready to call in when necessary.

Last night there was some idiot on KGO saying that Southern California gun owners were all cowards because the "well regulated militia" wasn't out searching for Christopher Dorner

It seems like everyone supports 2A... i.e. us owning a .22 revolver without a barrel shroud and bayonet lug. It is like saying I support the 1A but only if it was done through morse code.
