    The Judge

My parents live in TX and are moving back to Kalifornia. If they buy a Taurus Judge while residing in texas can they legally bring it back with them into Kalifornia when they move back?

It's a short barrelled shotgun in CA. Stupid, but true. And there is no grandfathering of this gun.

There are a few Judges sold in rifle form in CA, so you might hear that they are sold here, but they have rifle length barrels.

Serioustalk, avoid this gun like the plague. ( Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I didn't write the stupid laws.. )

They have to register it there first. Keep it a while at their present address. Then move here. If its over 5000 mi on car, should be good. Under 5000 expect a hasell but its legal. I went through it. Bought a truck a month before I sold my house and came here. What a mistake.

sorry 7500 miles. I couldnt find the exemption. But it is in the law. They tried it on me. Unless they changed it. Hopefully they would be over 7500 to make it easier.

              He speaks the truth.

In CA, all handguns that can shoot shotgun shells are classified as short barrel shotguns.

                WTF?

So anyway, the only way to legally own a Judge is to buy it as an AOW.

www.tenpercentfirearms.com was open from 2005 until 2018. I now own Westside Arms.

its okay. Taurus judge is a pretty sweet name for a car . And like was previously stated, you can go the nfa route.
